At Terra Firma we are fortunate to get to work with so many wonderful people on a great variety of unique projects. I love the art and challenge of remodeling and building. Everyday there are new puzzles to solve, and I really enjoy that.”

Passions & Pursuits

Spending time with my wife and kids. Bikepacking, exploring the BWCA, cooking, farming.

Education & Training

I learned to be a carpenter and project manager on the job. I started working at Terra Firma when I was 20, and have been hungry to learn and develop my craft ever since.

In 2012 my wife and I designed and built our home in rural Henderson, MN. We completed all the work ourselves, from foundation to finish, and learned a great deal from the experience. From 2018-2022 we owned and operated Little Big Sky Farm, an organic Community Supported Agriculture farm at our home. I have learned a great deal from chasing these dreams!
